End-user license agreement
This agreement is between Paweł Kozubski, Aleja Zdobywców Wału Pomorskiego 72E/21, 78-600 Wałcz, Poland (“we”) and the person who downloads or uses Seam (“you”). By installing or using Seam you accept this agreement. Seam Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as reseller and merchant of record; its terms apply to the purchase itself, and this agreement applies to the software.
1. Free features
You may install Seam and use its free features (keyboard and mouse sharing with the screen layout, and text in the clipboard) on devices you own or control, free of charge and without time limit.
2. Seam Pro license
A Seam Pro license grants one named user a perpetual, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Pro features (audio from the Mac, Mac windows and the virtual display on the PC, Windows apps on the Mac, and images in the clipboard) on up to three devices owned or controlled by that user. Because Pro features always connect two computers, Pro also works on a computer paired with a licensed one. The license covers every Seam 3.x release.
3. Trial
Each device can use the Pro features free for 7 days once. The trial requires no account or payment details and ends automatically. We may change or end the trial offer for future downloads.
4. Activation and validation
Pro is activated with the license key from your purchase email. The application checks the key with Lemon Squeezy at activation and about once every 7 days while online, and keeps working offline for up to 30 days after the last successful check. If a license is refunded, charged back or disabled, the Pro features stop at the next check. You may move a license by deactivating it on one device and activating it on another.
5. Restrictions
You may not redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense or share license keys; bypass or tamper with licensing controls; reverse engineer the application except where mandatory law permits it; or use the application to access or control a device without authorization.
6. Updates
The purchase includes all Seam 3.x releases. A future major version may be offered separately. Compatibility with future operating-system versions is not guaranteed.
7. Beta features
Features marked “beta” may contain defects. Do not rely on Seam for safety-critical, medical, industrial or emergency use.
8. Third-party components
Seam includes or downloads components licensed under their own terms, such as the Virtual Display Driver for Windows. The full list with license texts ships with the app (THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES) and includes Avalonia UI, FluentAvaloniaUI, NAudio, Vortice, SkiaSharp, the Virtual Display Driver and nefcon (MIT), the Inter typeface (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and ANGLE (BSD 3-Clause).
9. Privacy
Processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
10. Refunds
Consumer withdrawal and refund rights follow applicable law and the refund policy.
11. Warranty and liability
Seam is provided as is, without warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from Seam is limited to the amount you paid for Seam Pro. Nothing in this agreement limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or your statutory rights as a consumer, including the rules on conformity of digital content under Polish and EU law.
12. Termination
The license ends after a material breach that is not cured where a cure is required by law. You must then stop using the Pro features.
13. Governing law and disputes
This agreement is governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim before its courts. Other disputes go to the competent court in Poland. Consumers in Poland can also ask the local consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) for help with a dispute.
